KITAS Irregularity

I finally got my spouse sponsored kitas but there's a slight irregularity. My employer used their usual agent to process it all for me (at no cost to me) but the agent for some unknown reason got the telex approved under my old passport number.

So when I went to Singapore to collect the vitas, I gave both passports and the agent in Singapore managed to get the vitas in my new passport and with the new passport number on the visa sticker.

I came back and got the limited stay permit and the itas stamp on my new passport. But after getting the kitas emailed to me, the kitas itself still shows the old passport number.

Any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

I'd just advise you hang on to both passports for the duration of the visa.

Perhaps. The agent said its fine but I'm just wondering will I get any aggravation when trying to do any administrative tasks. I did think of going along to immigration myself to see if they would rectify it, but I wonder would they even care...

To be honest, I wouldn't bother.
I would just keep both passports together & submit both, if required for any administrative tasks.
That way it is quite clear the document is valid.
What I wouldn't do is lose or ditch the old PP with the relevant number in it.

Luckily I collect all my old passports, so no danger of throwing it away.

Just hope everything gets regularised during the renewal next year.

I'm no expert on these things, but if you trust your agent and your agent says don't worry, you're probably fine.

I've gone through periods where my visa was in an expired passport, so I had to show two passports to get stuff done, and it was never a problem.
