Hello everyone I am KITAP holder by spouse and my exit re entry is expired I am still out of Indonesia want back to Indonesia also my passport expired that have all stamps of visa want update passport information and want renw exit re entry permit need help how to do now ??

Step 1 again. That will teach you

You need new passport but if it's expired how are you travelling? Where are you now. What nationality?

After you got a new passport then enter Indonesia on a paid VOA $35 extendable

Then start again new kitas day 1 year 1.

You've lost your kitap. I think.

But spouse sponsored maybe can start again with kitaP

The old one expired though and you were out the country.

So you are stuffed either way.

Who lets their passport expire? Aduh

My KITAP will expire in fab 2025 but expired exit re entry that was only for 2 years but I am out of Indonesia more then 4 years my nationality is Pakistan my wife and baby in Indonesia
I am using new passport already but other countries

So you havent been in Indonesia for FOUR years??
Bro that kitaP is long gone
You not allowed out the country that long I'm sure

And what do you mean new passport but other countries? From another country?

Damn. Better get your needs in order in your own country before worrying about another countries since you really have nothing from them that is current or active. Pretty sure you have been absent from Indonesia far too long.

I used to have a KITAS but for the past 2 years have been a frequent visitor to using online E-visas, of either 60 or 30 days duration. I am currently out of the country but am arriving in Jakarta tomorrow. I tried several times to get a VoA online but the immigration website said I still have an active visa. I checked online and found that it was saying that three previous B213 60 day visas are still active and showing overstays up to 180 days! In fact I have never overstayed, always leaving before the visa expired. It looks like they have not recorded my departure from the country. Hopefully I can still get a VoA tomorrow. Has anyone else has a similar experience

That's why can't beat a physical stamp in the book

Then there's proof

I've got all the entry and exit stamps in my passport next to the visas. I also have a written record of my travels - entry and exit from all countries

This is a well known issued that have been reported by many people from people with similar situation. Typically it will not be a problem as they could eaisly see the stamp on your passort the date of your entry and leaving.

The e-Visa platforms have so many errors, problems, bugs. In other occasions taking money from people no visa is issued with no reason provided.

As usual noone has been taken accountable. They will only take action when the issue become virals on the internet. But it is is highly unlikely considering the number of people apply online and those would want to raise this issue to the authority.

Another time I applied for a 60 visa. The payment was taken by Finpay but the message saying I had paid didn't get sent to immigration as the system crashed before payment confirmation came through. I had to send various emails explaining what had happened and proving I had paid to eventually get my visa

You are very lucky as they still reply to your email promptly. In some cases they don't even bother to reply the email. Even when they reply it is already too late as the people have left and pay for VOA. The problem here is that, noone has been taken accountable for this fiasco.

I got into Jakarta without any diffculty this evening. I paid for a VoA at the airport. They asked why I hadn't bought it online and I explained that the website refused my application because it said I had 3 active visas. They acknowledged that this was a bug and and that they were fixing it. I'll need my next visa in two months; hopefully the bug will be fixed by then :)

Well done and enjoy your holiday.

Exactly. One year out of the country maximum. (So you need to be here one day a year.) Btw, last time I was leaving for 6 months and they already made difficulties (“wait, need to ask my supervisor”).

There's an ongoing discussion about this topic on the forum linked here:

Your ITAP won't be cancelled automatically; rather, it MIGHT BE cancelled. That is a according to the wording in the Immigration law UU_6_2011 article 62. A case mentioned in the linked discussion demonstrates that a person was still permitted an entry to Indonesia. But keep in mind the person like this will be on the mercy of immigration officials. Your current situation is quite different as your MERP has expired. It's important to note that upon entering Indonesia using VOA, the countdown towards your ITAP status resets.

As other people has mentioned to lawfully maintain your residency in Indonesia, you will need be in Indonesia for at least one day in a year.
