Does anyone have a recommendation for a place that sells sliding shower doors? Something reasonably priced. Maybe frosted plastic panel, with aluminum frame, or tempered glass if the price is right?

Prefer Bandung, but maybe Jakarta.

BSD on the main rod thru' Jl. Raya Serpong is a good source for hardware...Ace in Living World, Depo Bangunan and another large store nearer the ITC (forgot the name) all live there.

Take a look around IBCC there are lots of home improvement stores on the street level parking area.

The Depo Bangunan which is rather big in Jakarta and on Bali, also seems to have a store in Bandung:

So the better way to go is ask for very thick layered glass, 10-12 mm.

Two panes of different thicknesses so sound vibrations from one do not transfer to the other.

those clear glass shower enclosures are a pain to keep clean....especially in Bali as we use our own well for water and it's quite hard.………. no matter how much squeegee and maid scrubbing, they never look clear.

We generally squeegee off the inside of the glass shower, and haven’t had any mineral buildup In the last 10 years.

The only service my wife gets once or twice a year is some sort of steam cleaning of our sofa and mattresses.
