Oh dear, another piece of the new toll road collapses, numerous accidents have occurred over the past couple of years, sadly injuries and death, what with dangerous buses on the road, aircraft mishaps, boats catching fire, loony motor cyclist, I’m just wondering if it’s safe to travel, mind I still will, but I wonder where Indonesians go wrong

Don't forget the literal stock market collapse

And you can't even enjoy a kopi at the warung without some rich kid in a lambo driving into you

No........nowhere is safe. That is why I just stay locked in my place, hoping an aircraft or meteorite doesn't crash through the roof and kill me.:biggrin1:

To Daniel's point, living in fear is rather debilitating. In fact it's not living at all, to my way of thinking.

It's called surviving these days
The irony of course is that the more dangerous your job, the more likely you are to die doing something mundane like crossing the street or having a signpost fall on your head

Being alive anywhere is a health hazard. Unfortunately just staying at home and never getting out of bed is no guarantee of safety what with volcanic eruptions, longsor, banjir and the occasional meterorite. Not much to do about it except enjoy the moments of being injury and sickness free.

Mosquitoes just bite me
I wonder if that was carcinogenic, Would i get transmitted disease from it ?

No mosquitoes are perfectly safe. Relax and have another Bintang....

If still worried move to Lake Toba. Too high for mosquitoes.. Apparently.
