Investors kitas to kitap

Dear members,

Can anyone guide me how to convert my investor kitas to kitap, me and my husband are both from Hong Kong holding China Hong Kong SAR passport, we have our investor kitas for 4 consecutive years already, we would like to convert our kitas to kitap ourselves so as to save the agent fee, almost all the agents quoting us 45 juta/pax now.

I saw the info for spouse kitas to kitap seems can be DIY, but we both are from Hong Kong, so we don't have Indonesian spouse as sponsor, please kindly guide us step by step if possible.

No agent is needed, just patience and several visits to your local immigration office. The requirements are found in Permenkumham No. 29 Tahun 2021 starting at Pasal 192. Pasal 195 has general requirements for all ITAS to ITAP conversions, and Pasal 199-200 are specific for Investors. Pasal 213-220 describes the procedural steps. If only one of you is the investor and the other is "ikut suami/isteri" then Pasal 202 is applicable for them.
