Indonesian comic artist turns out to be an anti-Semitic bigot

So the good news is Marvel Comics employed an Indonesian artist.

The bad news is he hid anti-semitic and pro-Islamic extremist messages in his work.

There is a reference to 2/12 protests, Quran 5:51 ("O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.")

and also a nice 'Jew' label next to the Jewish character (yes, really).

Predictably he's blaming Ahok for being an evil blasphemer, and not considering that it's not really the done thing to embed Islamic fundamentalism and Indonesian regional politics into a US-based cartoon.

It was either the Jakarta Post or Globe(can't remember which one) on Facebook and people were going nuts over it. basically saying thanks to this guy Marvel will never hire another Indonesian artist, the guy's international career will disappear etc...

Kind of surprised me with those comments.
