In my case I posted an unofficial job listing about an opening at AmCham and was accused of...gosh, I forget exactly what, but some flavor of corrupt behavior.

The thing was, when I became more familiar with how that message board operated, I could totally understand the concern, even though I was in fact innocent.

I'm on the Big Island. We had very few cases of Covid 19 until recently. I'd even started teaching gamelan classes again - but I shut it down again because suddenly our numbers are shooting up. Personally I'm okay, though very busy with the finances of the non-profit I foolishly got deeply involved in helping.

Windward side is a bit humid and rainy especially at Hilo's elevation, but more "Hawaiian" I think, as Kona, like Bali, is overrun with Haoles.
