Well good luck with it all! Learning the language is very confusing. It doesn't translate very well into English. A word can mean many different things depending on the context you use it. Also every Island has a different culture, some even have many on one island.

Welcome! What area of the country are you living in?

For now we stay in Depok, south of Jakarta.

We'll travel Java and check out other cities within the next year.

Found this out after my first few lessons. Just needs a bit of time to get used to it. I'll be satisfied once I'm fluent in Bahasa. No time to learn 500 regional languages and dialects
