Sad to see this. When we moved house last year, we used Go-Clean. The maid arrived with all the supplies and did an excellent job - even cleaning the garage which had not been cleaned in the 3 years we lived there!

They will. Wait and see. Money is in the app and database
Go etc would be foolish not to sell their infrastructure to another online app
Maybe happyfresh?
Add on massage or cleaning to what they already offer

I asked my preferred Go-Clean gal and she said it will end on July 26. Still plenty of time to place an order and exchange whatsapp info with the provider.

She didn't say what her larger plan was, but she's okay with continuing to clean my place as a freelancer. I'm sure most would do the same.

My understanding of how they work is that they need a constant flow of orders ("orderan") each day. A few long term clients are good, but the orders coming through are key. If they have 4 long term clients and two leave the country what do they do? Is it back to the old days of posting ads on sites like this? I'd hope Grab or someone will take over the business but there has been no announcement yet.

Well yeah, of course. I'm not solving her employment problem. I'm just solving my problem of losing her and Go-Clean. Since Grab is a separate company, I imagine it's up to the providers to apply there if they want to work for Grab.
