Hottest Governor.jpg

The Governor of North Maluku with her bodyguards. At first glance, she and both of her bodyguards (right behind her with black shirts) look more like fashion models. But appearances can be deceiving.

She is widely regarded as one of Indonesia's highest-performing governors. Rather than simply relying on reports from subordinates, she regularly carries out field inspections to see conditions first-hand.

She is also one of the wealthiest governor in Indonesia, having inherited much of her wealth from her late husband and their family's business they built together.

Most either get rich (or richer) from being in office and/or got into office because they were rich. At least she seems to be doing some good.

I believe the latter is true. This is her profile
I personally do not believe someone could become a governor in Indonesia without spending much money during the local campaign to get elected. At least they will need to donate to the party who is nominating her.

Sounds interesting. Based on what metrics; do they have performance audits for Gubernurs now?
AFAIK, it’s not official; it’s just a matter of public perception. It’s similar to when people debate who the most popular US president was; there aren't any reliable, standardised, agreed metrics to actually measure something like that.

As for Sherly, I think people are drawn to her unconventional look and background. Plus, like I mentioned before, just look at her look, and her bodyguards, they look more like fashion models. Those who can not see this might need an eye surgery. 😁 😁 😁 😁

Hmm, even if a Catholic from Ambon is rather rare where more than half of the population is Protestant….
She is also of Chinese descent, something that was exceptionally rare in public office during Suharto's New Order era.
