Finally government making sense

I was pleasantly surprised to read this this morning:

It's one of the rare occasions where politicians here say something that makes sense to me. There is some hope .

I really hope they continue to push this line and media gets the message out to the masses early. It's one way to reduce the rubbish that we are going to go through in 2019.

The threat of a resurgent PKI has been trotted out in every election since the 1960's, noting that elections until the fall of Suharto were pretty much all shams. As the years go by it is a less and less effective bit of election rhetoric. People die, memories fail.
