View attachment DRIVER_OVERTIME.txtIt took me a long time as a Technical Manager to have our HR clarify the wage scale for our drivers. There is a separate Provincial? minimum wage regulation set for all drivers - at least in Jakarta. The rate of 17,341 Rp/HR was valid for early 2015 - this was after the minimum wage hike in Jakarta DKI and I have to assume it is still valid. The drivers are expected to perform 9 hours (8 +1 lunch) of duty before overtime sets in. There is one hour of overtime at 1.5x then all additional hours are at 2x overtime. I recall that hours worked Saturday and Sunday are automatically 4x hourly wage as per regulation.
I do not have a copy of the regulation but verified the wage rate and scale at that time verbally with 2 additional HR managers at separate companies once it was "revealed".
I've attached a sample timesheet made for tracking hours back then - the big money was made on the weekends at 4 x hour rate for every hour.
This post is only an FYI that there is in fact a separate wage scale for drivers and will need some updated wage input from someone with current knowledge of Jakarta DKI regulations/wage scales. It was valid for early 2015.
Hope this can be clarified.
ps - The Forum upload manager does not allow XLS files (for good reason) but I could not upload a 23k pdf file - limited to 19k for this file type. Here is a .txt showing a basic framework.
