It's a complicated issue that can't and won't be solved overnight. It's tied to race, lack of economic movement, guns, police union, and other things.

Wait, you live in Baton Rouge, Nimbus? I knew you lived in the States, I just didn't think you were that close.

My Facebook page is filled with friends and relatives posting about the cops who were killed, seems many of them knew them personally and it's really hitting home.

No I don't, I live way up north in Indiana. It's just that stuff like this has national repercussions.

I can feel something is afoot. During the last county fair the place was locked down because cops were expelling several young black men for suspicion of gang activity. Proving that the police was right, these rival gang members fought among themselves right outside the entrance. Still, that didn't stop their girlfriends from launching obscenities toward the cops, mixed with "black lives matter" and stuff.

I have been going to this fair for years, yet this was the first time I noticed such a thing. It was unnerving because I knew they were usually armed, and I was with family and visiting in-laws.
