I clicked on someones pic in the thread and selected view their forum posts - and this be what I got:

"Fatal error: Class 'THANKS' not found in /home/expatind/public_html/forum/vb/legacy/post.php on line 267"

now wtf is that supposed to mean & does anyone else have that issue?

I just clicked on your pic B_A and I got all your latest posts.

All I know is that html and php are computer languages connected to the internet or websites.

I'd like to learn a bit of both. I've got a mate programming a website for me using php so I'd like to understand at least some of it.

Vb (visual something ?) doesn't have any meaning to me and legacy I would assume would mean history of posts ?

As an ex-programmer I would guess that line 267 is the debugger trying to tell the programmer where the problem is (it's normally nowhere near where it says the problem is) but from previous experience could be as simple as a comma or a full-stop being in the wrong place in the code preventing the program carry on with what it's intended to do or maybe putting it in a loop but I don't know html or php so I could be completely wrong just for a change.

Hope this is SLIGHTLY less gobbledegook than the error message but also not surprised if it isn't. (At least the spellchecker works, took me a minute to get gobbledegook to be accepted :))

Nice tip Davita, I didn't know you could do that. Mind you, once I'd clicked on BA's pic and then backpage but I went back to the BA's original post without your post (which I think must have been posted while I was typing) or my own post so had to go back into Forum again to see them all

I get it too, and I think I know why. It's a bug that got introduced...let me confirm with EG when it is an acceptable time in JKT.... :)

There's a spellchecker.....how to access?

Yep, that's due to the thanks/likes plug-in I was testing the other day. Although I already deactivated it, it still left a mess behind. I'll look into it later this morning.

If we had a thanks plug-in, I'd click thanks to thank you for brining this up to our attention :p

...and thanks back atcha for taking the time to work on all this.

It was my doing, it's only natural that I fix it!

Anyway, it should be fixed now, please let me know if you still encounter any problem.
