Hallo all,
Since 4 december 2017 i am on the black list, with a half year stamp. Today my exwife visit imigrasi in Jakarta. First it seems the crew in there upset, because my ex before correspondended with LAPOR. But at the end i am not allowed to enter indonesia for 3 years.(from 4/12/2017)
My question is this a normal or allowed punishment or they just do because they were upset. And the weird thing , when i marry legal with an indonesian i can in at once.

So someone can explain why this? And how i can solve, a lawyer maybe

Hi Frank, welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your trouble.

As our article (linked below) explains, the blacklist is in fact renewed forever, until a successful appeal can be made to stop it.

So even in 3 years time, it is not a guarantee that you will be allowed to return. Instead your ex-wife or another trusted Indonesian should appeal the blacklisting as explained in the article. Note that immigration officers have broad leeway as to whether they allow the appeal or not.

Until you have a a blacklist removal letter (Surat Berakhir Masa Penangkalan), you can not be sure that your name has been removed.

Basically, if you have been deported and blacklisted it means you have done something forbidden by Law. As a consequence you have been declared persona non grata in Indonesia. In order to have the blacklisting removed you have to have a solid reason.
A solid reason is NOT "I want to come back" or "it has been already 6 month". You need to justify of a good reason for Indonesian Immigration to remove you from the daftar penangkalan.
There are certainly many good reasons but having an Indonesian family (spouse, kids) here is by far the best one. Refusing you after 6 months to be removed from the daftar penangkalan, if no serious crime has been committed, would put Imigrasi in a difficult position should your Indonesian wife/kids challenge their decision.
In the other thread, beside having wife/kids, you said that having a job in Indonesia would help. It may help, but honestly I don't think it would be a decisive factor unless you have extraordinary competences which may significantly help Indonesia.

Often people believe that overstaying or working illegally is a minor offense. it is, but the consequences may be major and impair their future for years.
