A 20 foot or 40 foot container are usually the most economical. I’m not sure if there will be tariffs for bringing things into the US.

Google brings up some names, but none I recall being mentioned here.

There are many local movers, franchise takers, or offshore entities that subcontract local operations.

Here are some Tips:

• You can get a free pre-move survey to estimate your volume and see who makes a good impression.
• Make sure that the quotations are covering the same scope and the included/excluded charges are aligned for an "Apple to Apple" comparison, i.e. for destination port/shipping line/warehouse charges, or destination access charges.
• If you already know your destination address, inform it to the movers and make sure that the quotation applies for this actual address without any hidden excluded fees.
• Freight Rates fluctuate. Be aware of the validity of the freight rates on the quotation.
• Plan the move and check early on for the required import and export customs documents. Don't delay that topic for later. It is standard to only ship/export when the destination documents are completed. The customs requirements usually determine the whole removal timeline, packing dates, your housing contracts, etc..
