Hello everyone, apologies for not answering all the concerned posts as to my whereabouts & well-being but I couldn't find them, the ol' IT skills must be slipping.
I've been in Australia & am now organising to apply for a Sosbud to enter Indo before applying for KITAS.
I'm going the Sosbud route because it is $100 cheaper than VITAS although I can see how VITAS would be advantageous to those living in areas remote to an immigration office in Indo.
I have a question about the flight out of Indo & the accompanying travel insurance that is required when applying for a Sosbud in Australia. The Indo consulate website in Sydney does not go into any detail & when I finally got through by phone to explain that I will be entering Indo on a Sosbud & promptly applying for KITAS they just kept saying the flight out depends how long I want to stay in Indo.
So, my question:. Is there any minimum time after arrival in Indo that the flight out can be booked for & is it possibly 60 days to match the duration of the initial 60 day Sosbud?
The point of my enquiry is to minimise the cost of the accompanying travel insurance that is required when applying for a Sosbud in Australia.
