The Spokesperson for the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Jodi Mahardi, stated that all foreign citizens (WNA) entering Indonesia must have a card/proof of COVID-19 vaccination starting July 6, 2021.
"All foreigners who come to Indonesia, starting July 6, 2021, must show a vaccine card (fully vaccinated) and a negative PCR result for COVID-19 before entering Indonesia," said Jodi quoting the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan in a written statement quoted from Antara, Sunday (4/7).
However, exemption from vaccination certificates is granted to diplomats and visiting foreign officials at the ministerial level in accordance with diplomatic relations practices that are also applied by other countries.
Still quoting Luhut's statement, Jodi said that Indonesian citizens who will enter Indonesia but do not have a vaccine card must first show a negative PCR for COVID-19 before arrival. After being quarantined and proven PCR negative, they will immediately get vaccinated.
In addition, foreigners and Indonesian citizens are required to undergo quarantine for 8 days with two PCR tests upon arrival and on the 7th day of arrival.
1. It is necessary to tighten the quarantine period for international travellers as a form of increasing awareness in dealing with variants of concern.
2. The median incubation of the SARS-CoV-2 variants Delta and Alpha is 4 days. Thus, the 8-day quarantine period covers twice the median incubation period of the virus.
3. The 8-day quarantine is carried out with a combination of entry & exit RT-PCR testing which is carried out at the time of arrival of the traveler (first day) and repeated on the 7th day.
4. Entry testing is carried out to detect as early as possible the potential for transmission from travellers.
5. Exit testing is carried out on the 7th day to wait for the virus incubation period, in anticipation of the virus not being detected in the first test.
6. The combination of quarantine and entry-exit testing (days 1 and 7) can prevent post-quarantine transmission, with a probability of transmission < 0.25 percent.
7. The implementation of quarantine for travellers needs to be carried out with discipline and strictness, in order to avoid transmission during the quarantine period.

It looks like I escaped the longer quarantine by arriving on the 1st. As for vaccines, I have had 2 sinovac shots and 1 J&J - they cannot possibly accuse me of being unvaccinated!

I have a flight on 8th July and I have a vaccination of single dose (fully vaccinated) CanSino vaccine and have a fully vaccinated certificate from government.
Some people saying this vaccine is not accepted but its approved in our country so many confusions.

I just cleared my five night quarantine. It feels wonderful to finally be home!
It depends entirely what your vaccination document says, which is different from country to country.
If it doesn't say anything about "valid beginning 2 weeks after second shot", then you will be considered fully vaccinated.
It's from the US. I can't find it that it says that. Thanks for the information!

We will see whether I am required to work from school or or work from home when the academic year begins for teachers on Monday. I kind of prefer working from school because the bike rides to & from there are good exercise, but it seems likely that we will wfh for a whileWelcome back home, Eric - now stay there!

Quarantine back to 7 days starting December
With kitas 14 days. But no B211 etc If you live here you can enter with quarantine Has you heard of anyone doing it or have you seen a change in the rules? Online all i can see is a blanket ban except for WNI. Ive heard lots of people say the same as you but no one has actually come back yet.
