    Christmas is here !

With my wife and the tree being her favorite by far of the Christmas decorations and puts a bunch of time making it perfect to her standards, if there were a cat that acted that way guest would be asking what that pelt on the wall is. Needless to say, no cats at our place.

    Sorry Kids in America!

Funny. Wasn't it the French who controlled Vietnam and then at the first sign of trouble they invited the US to help out and then the French did their normal complete disappearing act?

    Sorry Kids in America!

FFS. Wasn't it the US who kept telling Netanyahu to broker a deal to stop fighting? What was Netanyahu's response every time? We do what we want. Stop sending weapons per agreements? Biden tried but no matter what the Congress would never go along with that. Especially maga who follow...

If I were going to have Christmas dinner for just the wife and I we would probably have pizza or something. My wife is really into the decorations and the tree is a priority. I put on the lights and then get dismissed. Our going all out for Christmas is more for our guest. Expats married to...

Also, for what it's worth. Picked up the Ribeye for Christmas dinner today from the shop I buy all quality beef. Didn't have any Aust A grade so he showed me a young steer one that he had just received. I went with that. Small younger steer it seems since the one I bought was only 3 kilograms...

For what it's worth. I am an American and I too eat butter on any sandwich including cheese. I come from a dairy state where milk, butter, and cheese reign superior. I never touch mayonnaise. Stuff is primarily oil and raw eggs and reminds me of something else that is collected from male cattle...

Second Visa Stamp after re-entering Indonesia on a 2nd home visa

I always seem to have someone from my wife's side of the family suggesting I convert. Nothing to it. Just go to Imam and say the words. No classes or any understanding of the religion needed. No need to drop your pants and let an Imam fondle you to make sure you are cut. I guess you just...

Only use pork bellies for bacon and burt ends. Have migrated more to side bacon due to the larger muscle constant vs fat which belly here lacks. Easiest is loin into Canadian style bacon.

    Today's menu:

For Christmas we always ordered a Full boneless smoked ham from a Jakarta supplier with the product originating in Bali. They only carried for Christmas. This year I inquired about that Christmas ham and was given a link to it. Price from last year had more than doubled. Supplier blamed the...

Second Visa Stamp after re-entering Indonesia on a 2nd home visa

At least that kid when they get older can leave and either join a different religion or none at all. Could be worse, the child could be Muslim automatically at birth and then forbidden to ever leave without punishment.

Let's not forget that Indonesia diabetes is a money maker for doctors. All someone needs is a single blood sugar test that shows elevated when they didn't even fast for it and bam, you have diabetes and you need this and that plus seeing me regularly. One of the test, like cholesterol that can...

    Weakening IDR

I see the beginning of the race to the bottom as started a couple or more decades ago. One can eliminate any previous presidential figure and just look at the Congress and Senate circus that were created many years ago.

    Weakening IDR

I will admit I do not like nor trust him in the roll of POTUS. I will admit that not all his cabinet choices are bad choices and the people chosen are qualified to fill the required rolls. Some are another story and have no business in the president's cabinet. They are not qualified and only...

    Decrease of Indonesian Middle Class

Yes. People need to remember that if one reacts, many follow knowing or not knowing the reason. Many have died or come close to it in those encounters. Then there are no witnesses. Even the police join in at times to get in a few licks. Not a bright thing to do anywhere. Make sure everyone...

    LOOKING FOR BUYERS IN OVERSEAS

Coffee. Whole bunch of that here. Perhaps a little more information would better serve your purpose like which coffee, where does it originate, things that someone may want to know before jumping on you band wagon. Just my opinion
