    Sorry, but that’s just not true. The relevant UU (I think around 2010) only states that expat teachers must have proficiency in English.     Actually, he may not be able to teach primary because his BA is Science/Geography. Also the 5 years experience must be of the same level you intend to teach (primary or secondary, cannot be a combo) and after you completed your teaching certificate.
