DON'T PANIC.... well, maybe a little bit.

To be fair to him, I think it sounds more like a tongue-in-cheek comment from him :) From the context, it is quite obvious he implicitly means the truth is the second option...though the media prefers to spin the story to mean the first. "“If [the strain] is only among us now, there are two...

    Covid 19 "jabs" for kitas/kitap holders ?

Hi Wally, do you mind explaining your circumstances in more detail. What kind of KITAS and under what category are you registered? I've heard from various sources that WNAs under Lansia category have received vaccines. But some KITAS holder under specified profession (like the national soccer...

KITAP ex-Indonesian proof of lost citizenship

Hi Poco-poco If I am not mistaken, you can apply for BPJS through 'Jalur Mandiri if you are KITAS/KITAP Holder, even if you are not working. http://www.pasienbpjs.com/2020/01/syarat-daftar-bpjs-untuk-wna.html I'm not too sure about your question regarding pension: how do receiving pensions...

KITAP ex-Indonesian proof of lost citizenship

Hi Poco Poco, You can enter indonesia as WNA and just like everyone else, get a KITAS (with repatriation purpose sponsored by close relative). However, because you are an ex WNI, you are eligible to apply for 5 year KITAP as soon as your KITAS is approved. This will allow you to at least settle...

    Covid 19 "jabs" for kitas/kitap holders ?

That is true. According to SK Dirjen regarding vaccination, the jab is for penduduk not warga negara, which by definition includes wni and wna with valid stay permit. Link...

Now that Indo has started rolling out vaccines for non medical workers, such as elderlies and teachers...Does anyone know what is happening with WNA under those categories?

    KITAP Renewal

I guess it also depends on whether you are an ex-wni or not. Based on my experience (and some others I heard of) the treatment can be quite different. I know it sounds descriminatory, but they don't seem to care too much if you 'sound and look' Indo (if you know what I mean). All the questions...

Does anyone know when will they include the antigen rapid test results to the daily case report? I am keen to see the more realistic representation of Indo covid situation...

It is perhaps also worth remembering statistically speaking...correlation does not imply causation. For example: https://towardsdatascience.com/from-correlation-to-causation-49f566eea954

This sounds gloom and doom but alas I couldn't imagine any other more optimistic scenario for Indonesia... It seems like the virus is already too widespread, the country is too complex and it is too late to introduce any further containment measure.

    Questions regarding Covid-19 Vaccination

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/10/early-approval-covid-19-vaccine-could-stymie-hunt-better-ones It is interesting to note how the early emergency use permit might affect the ongoing clinical studies of Vaccine (which might take another year to complete). For example, would volunteer like...

    Questions regarding Covid-19 Vaccination

So, for argument's sake, let's say that my whole big family gets vaccinated, and we develop acceptable antibodies...does it mean that our risk management (wearing mask, distancing, wash hand, etc.) now is mostly directed towards other people rather than for us? i.e. I don't have to alcohol wipe...

    Questions regarding Covid-19 Vaccination

Hey guys, I don't know much about vaccines. I'm curious about what you are thinking regarding the covid-19 vaccination plan for Indonesia (assuming you want to be vaccinated of course)... 1. The gov will be importing 3 from China, 'Sinovac, G42/Sinopharm dan CanSino Biologics' and 1 from the...

DON'T PANIC.... well, maybe a little bit.

Don't you think they need to compare the numbers between before and after the global 'lockdown'? If they take out the first three months of the year, the number would look much more real. Though still, in my opinion, it doesn't mean anything to anyone...the low number of travel now is not...
