I see MNC Vision is dropping stations again. Quite the change.
HBO........................Cinamachi
HBO Hits................Cinamachi Xtra
HBO Family............Cinamachi Action
HBO Sig..................Cinamachi Max
Cinamax.................Cinamachi Kids
Discovery...............Global Tracker
Animal Planet........Love Nature
TLC........................Dream Works
Asian Food Net.....Rock Action
HGTV....,................Rock Entertainment
CNN,......................Zoomoo
Warner TV.............?
Bloomberg............?
Cartoon Network..?

Off air starting May 12 but are still charging customers for the stations even though new ones are not available yet.

Cinemachi seems to come out of Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.
Rock group looks to be from the Philippines and Singapore.
Zoomoo for ore schoolers owned by Rock Entertainment. Multi lingual including Bahasa Indonesia
Love Nature is owned by Rock Entertainment. Canadian made, multi lingual.
Global Tracker I believe comes from the UK
Dream Works owned by Comcast features Dream Works studio productions.

I find it rediculas that they would remove CNN and keep the Fox News who have admitted to not being truthful, broadcasting conspiracy theories, and put our far right propaganda. I am trying to contact MNC now to make sure these changes are canceled and if I don't get a number soon that actually contacts someone, I will cancel the entire service. Most posted numbers don't work. No, indihome isn't much better.

Not even like for like replacement
What a joke
Why not at least BBC world. Or sky news
Or Asian food channel
Discovery
Etc
Awful selection now
And going to miss last 2 episodes of succession

I dropped the entire service after speaking to their CS. Probably didn't watch enough TV to justify their price to begin with. At first we told CS that we didn't want the new stations so do not charge us. Right away she asked if we wanted to drop the complete service like maybe she was hearing that a lot. She couldn't tell us anything about the new channels so we said the heck with it and dropped it all. Won't miss it.

So upset now. 3 episodes of Succession left only.
Tomorrow the election
Next week funeral
Episode 10 90mins the season finale and end of the whole show
Gonna have to "watch" by reading all the recaps and reviews from WaPo etc
Aduh

We dropped MNC a year ago due to the many dropped channels, and instead use internet TV - Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBOGo for movies, Vidio for football and other sport, and YouTube for live news and local content. Haven't looked back and don't miss MNC a bit.

We have now told MNC to cancel 5 times. They keep coming back with excuses and offers to keep us. Last night reading their email it actually had the tone of begging. Listed a bunch of channels they said they opened for us to check out. (None if them worked). We still replied no.

Payment is due today and yesterday got one of their through TV messages and suddenly our due amount is only 50% of what it normally was. Informed them to stop trying and cancel because not paying. We did explain that we understood that the CS Reps were only doing their jobs by doing what they are told to do to keep unhappy customers and that the full responsibility lies with MNC. The tone of the last email leads me to think that there may be a large exodus from MNC Vision right now. Still, I doubt if that is so, they learn any lessons from it.

Does your tv not have a smart function so you can download the HBO app? You could buy a firestick or many other cheap options if not.

My TV has cable from the building
I don't have smart tv only as smart as me
Whats the HBO app? Can you watch anything? Or is it another Netflix and need VPN

@snpark I suggest you splash out and buy a smart tv. Get HBO for succession etc. Netflix, Disney, Amazon all have apps on the tv and dont need a VPN.

Also Vidio app has all the premier league games and was only 500k for the whole season including the world cup too. Although i guess you might be avoiding football for a while now.

Rather simple to use too, even my m-i-l can use Youtube on the Samsung to watch her André Rieu concerts.

And yes, better to watch on the big screen than on a small tablet. Only problem I have is that Amazon Prime or Disney+ or so can be included (practically for free) in the Telkomsel prepaid but only works on the phone and can not be activated on other devices.

Must be a telkom issue? Included if using their data maybe? I have apps for both on LG tv and both work fine. Apple tv too but i stopped subscribing to that one.

Esp since the HBO Asia versions of shows are edited to be less sweary - I noticed it watching GOT so I prefer to get the US/ European cut of the shows. If they edit swearing there are probably other bits they cut.
There are a lot cut or not available at all here with the Asian version of HBO/Cinamax. Do they still have the Indonesian Netflix? I understand that has either a lot of editing or simply programs/movies not offered. These new stations come mainly from SE Asian feeds so I am guessing they too will edit deeply. Violence is OK, skin and how some language is used, no. I know you can get direct feeds through Western broadcasters with and without VPNs. Torrents are free and uncut. Youtube offers some programing.

If you watch HBOGo with a smart tv you get uncut movies. For some with lots of nudity, like the original, uncut Game of Thrones, you need to enter your pin number, ostensibly to keep children from having access.

During the final season of GOT I had HBO Asia, I watched "live" and then would usually rewatch later from online downloads (so US version) - they literally change the words the actors say for Asia - it must be filmed when they make the show cos it wasnt dubbed over (really toned down swear words). I bet no matter what version of HBO you have here - PINs etc. you will still get the HBO Asia version of the show.
