C317 versus B211 online onshore WNA sponsored by WNI wife

I want to apply for a new onshore visa, through the online Immigration system.
My Balinese wife is already enrolled as a Sponsor in the system (hallelujah what a PITA),
and she now sponsors our Ex-WNI daughter's ITAS.

I am curious  if there might be an advantage to applying for the C317.
We have been married almost 22 years.
Have 3 children all born, raised and residing in Bali WNI-WNA.

Any insights and knowledgable feedback would be most gratefully accepted. (y)

Why don't you have a kitaP already if you've been married so long?

Anyone married to an Indonesian should definitely get a spouse-sponsored KITAP. Nothing else comes close. [no-one is stopping you from going to Singapore for a holiday]

By the way, why did your daughter give up her Indonesian nationality if she was born raised and resides in Indonesia?

As previously described, in another thread, I have always enjoyed my semi annual day trips to Singapore and the availability of 1 liter bottles of Ron Zacapa 23 Rum, duty free, for about 20% of the cost of a 750ml bottle in Bali. I still love Bali, but really enjoy IT shopping and such in Singapore at much better prices than Bali. World class people watching. I wouldn't want to live there, but love it in small doses. I also was absolutely blown away on my last early Covid visa run by The Jewel!!! What a mind blowingly cool structure and environment. The freshest air, bar none, I have ever experienced, driven by the incredible ionization created by the waters dropping through The Vortex.
This link is to an awesome Nat Geo Asia special about building it. Hang out in Canopy Park at the top of the building! ;)

I think you posted in the wrong place??

I have long been aware that that was the road more traveled, but it seemed to me that the annual costs were not so different from my day tripping plan. Especially with the added incentive of tax savings of 160% on Liter sized bottles of various Fine Rums from the duty free. A 750ml bottle of Ron Zacapa 23 might cost up to 3 juta here, if you can find it, which is very hard, and I can't afford. A liter bottle at Changi costs about 400,000  ?

Stick to the topic please

I have come to understand (assuming that it is accurate on the website) that the C317 is valid for periods of 6 months, a year or 2 years, at an appreciably lower cost than the B211A.
I am virtually forging ahead into the great unknown.
I am NOT sure if coming to the end of my B211A, this is an available option, but so far I have assumed that it is. It may eventually come to light that I need to start with a new B211 and go through the conversion process. Time, or those more knowledgable in this realm, will tell...God willing.

Again, why after 22 years of marriage are you not on a kitaP or wife sponsored kitaS ?

For the same reasons posted earlier, to which objections were raised for nonrelevance.
The Immigration website closes in 2 minutes.
Oh good, not for another hour, still plugging away filling it out.
Presumably if the wheel is spinning something virtual is going on somewhere...good things come, to those who wait, albeit slowly.

Having a Kitap certainly doesn’t preclude you from semi annual jaunts to SIN or even KUL or BKK.
