Quarantine Confusion

No but citizens pick and choose whether to get vaccinated and thus bring their country down to a low risk percentage and therefore more welcome to other countries. Which is why even you as Indonesian still needs to quarantine and be fully vaccinated even before you come home. Because you live in USA. Nothing to do with your passport. You could be Nigerian living in Liechtenstein and you can still enter Indonesia now as a tourist. But you living in America cannot. Understand now!?

Nigerians, living in Lichtenstein, US, or Nigeria, cannot come to Indonesia with a tourist visa, same as US citizens.

Indonesians can come back to Indonesia without vaccination.

Only citizens of 19 countries can come to Indonesia with tourist visas with direct flights from these countries to Bali, which do not exist, meaning nobody can come. There is an exception, you can come by yacht, as stated in the regulation. This nonsense regulation would be probably revised soon, as other countries in the region are opening for tourism and collecting $$$.

Officials from the Bali Health Agency have announced that the price of PCR tests in all medical laboratories in Bali has been reduced.

BUT :

So, it is to promote tourism but it doesn't apply to all touristic and travel activities ?
Because I don't believe there is a big market for "spontanous, volonterily, individual testing" ?

Every f&b place I know does weekly testing for staff and that's not from the government

If laboratory cannot make money from IDR 275,000, they can stop offering the service or limit the testing to certain number per day (and consider it as their CSR).

If the government did not mention about the maximum number of days for the result e.g. IDR 275,000 and the result within 24 hours or less, then lab can say result in 5 days, if you want it in 1 day, this is the price for the express service. Is this possible?

Not anymore. The new regulations say you can charge a maximum Rp 275k in Java/Bali, Rp 300k elsewhere, and the result must be available within 24 hours

Before maybe BJPS was enough. But this year they also ask to see proof of insurance since corona if you don't have BJPS

I've never been asked for insurance information with my spouse sponsored kitas/kitap/indef kitap.

I just applied for my indef kitap a couple weeks ago, nobody asked for any proof of insurance.

Nope, all international traveller who have received 2x vax shall undergo 3x24 hours. 5x24 hours if only vaxed 1x.

Actually it was 8 days, 5 days, 3 days. They can't reduce it to 1 day just for Bali, it would have to be for the whole country. And a one-day quarantine is meaningless - the first night you'd be sleeping in your room anyway.
So the next step is no quarantine for those who are vaccinated and tested on arrival. I think it could be a while before that happens, unlikely to be this year, after they see if there's a post-Christmas spike or not.
