Where to donate clothing? Moving boxes?

I'm planning a little move in a couple days so I have two questions on things I've never known where to find. I'm in Bandung if it matters...

First, where can I donate used clothes and other household items? I haven't seen any thrift stores similar to Goodwill, Value Village, Salvation Army, etc like back home. Someone suggested I bring donations to a mosque, but that seems a bit weird to walk up and be like, "here's all the crap I don't want!"

Second, where can I get moving supplies, like cardboard moving boxes? I don't have a ton of stuff but a few medium sized boxes would help make the move smoother. I remember when I wanted to ship a care package one time, they didn't have anything at the kantor pos. I can't remember if they stock boxes at places like Ace Hardware or Borma.

We always like the Ikea moving boxes. Big and sturdy. Also sold in RI (but not cheap):

They can be delivered. Also via independent transporting companies advertising with Ikea items on Tokopedia etc.

Talking about that, many boxes ? are also offered online...

You can try your local supermarket for second hand boxes. They have all kinds of sizes and the ex-rokok boxes like Gudang Garam are very strong.

There are always plenty of cardboard boxes available at Lotte, Naga, Carefour, most any supermarket. I cannot imagine paying for something that is provided free to haul your groceries home, especially if you only need a few. (Actually, yes I can imagine, as not everyone is as, shall we say, thrifty as I.)

Clothing donations, no clue. There is always someone in our family who wants it, no matter what "it" is.

@Bad_azz has solved all my problems :)

Thanks for the input everyone else. Good to know for next time to check the larger stores. I remember going to Alfamart and they were bewildered by my question, eventually going to the back and offering me some flimsy Fitbar boxes.. lol

In case others have similar questions:

I haven't seen any thrift stores similar to Goodwill, Value Village, Salvation Army

But they do exist. http://www.salvationarmy.or.id/

This is the info I got from a friend in Bandung:

They do accept old clothes etc. Better call first.
