Looking for a good Indonesian girl.

Well, I agree with some of the above "statements" and disagree with many.

Personal history :
First of all I have close to 30 years experience living in.Asia.
Was married with a Thai "good middle class" women, had 3 kids together, all grown up. We separated but are still in touch. Western educated, fluent French.
The best of both world.
Later on I worked.in HKG, met an Indo girl, we lived together there for over 2 years.
Comes my decision to retire (64), and I simply said her that I am.done in HKG, so she has 2 choices
  • she stays with me and I'll give it a try in Bali (forget about the jungle village..)
  • she prefers to stay in.HKG and it's end of story.

So we arrived in Bali 6 years ago, are still together.
She was not what you call a "good girl" and I was a wild party animal going through alcohol and girls, a perfect fit in fact as long both parties.decide to "settle down"
Things were.made clear from the start :
  • there will never be a marriage, a house.or land or car purchase or kids.
  • I understand the family thing, but they are YOUR family, not mine and they will never interfere in our live.
  • you have your religion / tradition (Hindu), I have mine.
  • we dont touch each others freedom

Well, it's working. Probably we have both "done it all" and have calmed down.
We arranged our lives 2 months together, 1 month separate. Works very well.
Note that when we met (8 y ago) she was 43 and I 60, so it's not the thing about the pensioner "catching" a 25 y old girl...

Cheers !
Anyone that is a pensioner and as you say catches a 25 yr. Old girl is a fool to think they would have anything in common. Once I was with a woman 14 yrs. Younger than me and after 8 years she wanted to party and I said we have to pay our bills instead of going to the city and blowing hundreds of dollars, and she said I was boring! I did like having a house with electricity and gas to cook with! So I felt we should pay these bills! Then she started going to Buddhist retreats for a month at a time which I payed for the flight ticket for her to get there. She stopped helping me sell goods from Bali to work for an hourly wage and when the bills came up she said she didn't have enough money to help pay the bills and I should pay all. After a year or so of this she went on another retreat and when she returned she accidentally left a love email on my computer to an Irishman she was having sex with at the so called spiritual retreat! . I was flabbergasted and broken hearted. That relationship ended and screwed up my head for years! So I guess I am referring to older men hooking up with younger women is asking for disaster in the long run, so they should be prepared for it! If someone does hook up with a younger woman and it works good for them, they are one of the rare lucky ones!

As a pensioner I fully know I wouldn't know what You're I would do with a 20something female. Maybe she could clean the house or something. Garrantee there would be nothing of value at her disposal.

Indonesian Wife and I met in a US Territory when she decided to take a vacation from HK. She had agreed with someone to give a darts exhibition when she came. We met at that. Not that I wanted to see the exhibition, just the cold beer served and it was a place I frequented. We met then and 43 years later we are still enjoying the ah, simplified honeymoon.

Neither one of us had any thoughts of settling down but after some long distance back and forth we did. Married by the Governor of Guam on January 7, 81. Travel was easy for her since she worked for Cathay Pacific in the days of flight crews could fly free in any airline.

I had met and dated a lot of Asian girls before that from East and SE Asia. What stuck out for my wife was three things. 1st, she was gorgeous and that got my attention. 2nd, she was a smart girl and that kept me hanging around, 3rd, she was always honest about everything. That got her in trouble a few times because she is not afraid to speak her mind.

8 months into the marriage we moved to the Midwest in the US mainland where my family treated her as a daughter. Little by little she became more and more Westernized and while she turns 70 in 2 more days, she takes no crap from anyone. Maybe even more opinionated than me. She would associate with her family here more but when she returned they ridiculed her for her hair, style of dress, and how she spoke. A couple started in on wanting her in a hijab. The family was never Muslims until the sisters married. I suppose that perhaps the first night she was back and asked if they had any coke for her Bacardi may have set them off. I wasn't here yet but heard about it from her when she called.

Normally you would know if she is the right one. Of course, that is if she exposes herself honestly. If someone has any doubts or is uneasy then they are not the one. Goes both ways.

Age difference... IMHO 15 y difference is the limit for a relationship that you want real, marry and have kids.
And having kids will oblige you to stay young !
Concerning "fidelity".... for me sex and feelings are completely different things.
Personally I can not imagine having sex with only the same person for 20 years...
So I guess the person who lives with me is same.
There is one rule : Don't fall in love.

Most of my companions (and I had more than a few) fully agreed with that.

And we always had "libertine" lifestyle.
Hoping not to shock anybody....😱😱

It's always upon agreement between the involved parties. Any constellation can run, if the do's and don'ts are very clear from the beginning. Mostly relations fail because the people try to change the other part to align with their own way of living. It's never total unity, it's always two indivuduals.

Agreed.
Only French cooking is mandatory and not negociable....

VW combi camper for me.
With the windsurfing board on top !
Ha, at that time we were on the Northern Marianas Island if Rota. Not even a dot on a map. One road, one vehicle. VW Thing. Best place to be sitting on the veranda of the Blue Peninsula 7 room hotel/resto enjoying natural herbs and a sky full of stars. The Japanese were in the process of another invasion when they just started to build an all inclusive resort there. They're going to spoil that small island.

Fun thing about that place was venturing into the jungle. Coming across WWII wreckage from the US and Japan. It littered it everywhere. Was never a diver but snorkeled quite a bit and there were massive ships setting on the bottom there. No one was allowed to dive them since many were still loaded with munitions yet. They cleared them late 80s or early 90s finally.

Rota Island is 64 miles North of Guam. Lies between Guam and Tinian Island. Tinian is another great historical Island to explore. WWII runways and base streets still navigable even while a bit overgrown. Easy to make out from the air. Just a bit North of Tinian is Saipan where 10s of thousands Japanese troops walked backwards off a cliff in stead of surrendering. WWII in the Pacific is quite an historical read. Vast parts of the Pacific seen large scales ocean and air combat. Papua seen a lot of it but I have never seen them promote it for a tourist thing.

That sounds like something awesome to see. At one time there were large Allied aircraft scrapyards in Biak and Morotai, but the planes and other artifacts were collected and melted in Cilegon around the late 1980's. There's almost nothing left on Morotai from that era except the runways and a couple of amphibious vehicles. I've heard the same is true of Biak.

Alas, it has been awhile since my experiences there and as long as the Japanese tourist haven't picked the jungle clean which I doubt, I imagine with a bit of luck someone could still stumble across some aircraft debris. Nothing large left but not uncommon to see a bit sticking out of the ground and with a bit of digging, finding a piece. Identifying just what piece you found is another story. Could be US or Japanese. Could be from a wing or a tail. Could be some wiring or cable. Where it all belonged would be the task of a WWII aircraft specialist. Not I.

Why I doubt the Japanese have picked it clean is that first off, the jungle is unforgiving for those who may lose their way plus, the Japanese hold the WWII relics in high regard no matter their origin. Almost spiritual for them. Human remains are another story. Removed and returned with ceremony and turned over if belonging to another nation. I have never came across any human remains.

Another interesting thing to see is on Guam itself. A vast system of connected caves the Japanese forces used. There is also a Museum featuring the Japanese soldier captured after 40some years of hiding out in the jungle still thinking the war was still going on.

Where did the topic go about someone seeking a Wife? What has War relics got to do with this subject? And moustaches and Mullets? You guys lost me!

From Madura I heard or is that just a legend
It was more than a legend. Whether it's still in practice I don't know.
You sparked my interest and this is what I found. Let me know what bit you were talking about:

Also known as the Orang Madura, Tijang Madura, Wong Madura, they are regarded by many Indonesians with the same contempt leveled at gypsies in Europe. The Javanese call them “kasar” (“unrefined”).
Madurese marriages have traditionally been between first or second cousins and have involved the payment of a bride price often in cattle.
The Madurese are regarded as hot tempered, aggressive, hostile and clannish and prone to turning to violence to settle disputes. Madurese women have a reputation for being excellent in bed, immoral, demanding and difficult to live with.

Yes, let's go back to the original topic "looking for good wife material at the church" 😂😂😂

And BTW, it's not a mullet....

Maybe the good women of today are relics in and amoung themselves. If one is young perhaps a good bad girl would be a lot more fun. Those good submissive girls are boring.

Look for a naughty, kinky one.
They are way more fun than "good girls"

And usually they have a heart as well !

My ex-gf was naughty & kinky, she vowed to cut my dick if I did it with other woman. I didn't marry her, I married a "good girl".
