Why am I different

I don't mind being different but why do I not have a thank you or add to reputation symbol after my post like everyone else. I only have the report abuse symbol. What have I done to deserve this honour.

You don't get them on your own post. You can't really add to your own reputation nor deduct from it.

Fear not, I was in the same boat, but as fastpitch explains we would be enhancing our own reputations, so I've given you a thanks because I also wonder why it was missing
