Anyone going to the US anytime soon? I have 2 hundred dollar bills that the money changer wouldn't take because of blemishes. They are perfectly good in the US, but not perfect enough for Indonesia. The exchange would be for 3,112,000 IDR, but I'll take 3,000,000 if anyone is interested in the trade.

Also if you know anywhere that would take bills that aren't perfect at a good rate, let me know.

Most money changers (not banks) will take any $100 but for less the more blemishes

There's a great one in ITC kuningan / ambassador mall. 1st floor. At the back. Valuta Arta Mas

They take dirty hundred but you won't get 15

I think I’ve been to that moneychanger in ITC/Ambassador mall. My wife used to work nearby before we got married.

Banks reject bills frequently, but always found a moneychanger would take them for -30 or -40 a bill.

I‘ve seen a real $10,000 note before. I think Chase is on it. Hasn’t been made since the 1920’s or 1930’s, I think.

There's 2 opposite each other. One always full with a queue. The other one empty. Literally next to each other. That tells you everything

Years ago was the BCA at the back then they moved downstairs into the ground +3 floors of Ambassador

SNG does $10,000 notes still.
