For those of us who use Telkomsel, you get points from your usage which you can exchange for vouchers. 400 points get you 50k voucher at places like Ace and Bodyshop that can be used accumulative, 300 for a CGV movie ticket or 1500 for velvet class etc.

You can check your points through the MyTelkomsel App, or through https://my.telkomsel.com

Points expire by the 31st of December so I'd recommend to act fast.

Thank you! I had never paid much attention to them, assuming they would just keep accumulating and someday I would figure out how to use them. I didn't realize they expire Dec 31. I have over 400, I will go see if I can find anything appealing.

Hahaha... Your link is Gold. I have spent 17 years using Telkomsel as a provider, 17 years telling me that they must have some telephone paket, 17 years telling me that I should stop by and ask, 17 years being stupid enough to spend well over Rp 1 jt a month in pulsa... and in 1 link you have given me the perspective to save a fair amount monthly. Everything I need to know is in that damn link and it would have been so easy for me to do the legwork. At least I will see the money wasted as a punishment for being lazy to check.

You should download their mytelkomsel app, thru it you can buy all the packets u need...

For example, the Rp 150rb package includes 14GB of data good for 30 days. Even the most hard core user will have trouble using all that, unless you start using it for streaming videos non stop..

As you said, insane. Even though the two phones are for professional use and the fact that all staff call me reverse call, after having browsed and reviewed the different paket I am convinced that I can divide by at least two or perhaps three my monthly cost and save even more with the other family phones.
What has costed me an arm and a leg is the fact that I don't use the wifi connection of the house and office when I browse internet and the fact that I wasn''t using a paket. Plus the occasional call abroad not using skype. I guess that the next step after mastering the telkomsel paket will be to have a look at how skype works.

Our phone bills are obviously ridiculous and very (VERY) poorly managed. This link Euc- pasted is an eye opener. I knew there was a huge waste of resources but couln't be arse to look into it.

One of the cool think of the link is that it allowed me to review all the family phones and paket (or lack of) they have. You said that "Even the most hard core user will have trouble using all that" (14 GB of data). I've just found out that one of my wife's telephone has 23,1 GB of data remaining which will end in just 15 days! How is she gonna use that is a mistery, especially since she doesn't use her phone to watch videos, just normal browsing, emails an social networks. Second telephone is more modest: "only" 13 GB left, which should apparently be used before January 08th. On none of the telephones she has any paket for telephone call or sms, while in fact, she mostly use her phones to call!

Look into postpaid, Halo Kick for example has packages that include data as well as calling minutes, but those are only to other Telkomsel numbers. You can add a separate package to include minutes to other operators as well. I rarely get over the 400k with very heavy work calls usage.

I found using twitter really sucked my data out- I never imagined being able to use 30GB a month, until last month & I started using Twitter & Instagram again... pooooof gone. I had to buy a supplement package.
