Surrendering KITAS outside Indonesia

I am now back in the UK, I had intednded to return to Indonesia, but work has prevented this.

I have a wife sponsored kitas, which I have not EPO'ed.

Is there any way to EPO this KITAS without returning to Indonesia?

If you're outside Indonesia while KITAS expired, it is a de facto EPO, so to speak. I don't think you need to do anything further, other than that you need to restart all applications from zero when you come back.

I do not know about wife sponsored, but work sponsored KITAS' without a proper EPO are a big problem to get sorted out.

it is a very different case since the KITAS is linked to an IMTA and that without a proper EPO the company can not (at least theoretically) get a new ITAS issued associated with the same IMTA.

@Jim69. I suggest you send it back to the atase Imigrasi at the KBRI whenever you are in London.
