If my stay permit expiry on 11-04-19, that means can I flight on 11th April as long is before 12 am on 11th April?
There is a difference on price plane tickets so I need to know this.

Even one day over, you only need pay 300,000rp penalty
So yes if there is a big difference say $100 then yes go the next day and pay the fine

Please remember the dates are inclusive, so if you land on 1st March, that is day 1 inclusive of the 30 days if you count

or pass through immigration at least (example flight is 02.00a.m on 12th april)

12.01 12 april is 1 day overstay

remember get your dates and times right when it is late night flight on 11th etc dont get confused with 01,00 on 10th / 11th and 11.59 on 11/12th etc

I have no first or second hand knowledge of trying this, but I suspect half the time it won't work and the immigration official will recognize that you won't actually leave the country until the overstay date and will charge overstay accordingly. But as you pointed out, it's not that expensive, certainly cheaper than buying a new flight.

Not at all, its obvious, even if your flight is not until say 3 or 4 a.m as long as they let you check in, at 11.59 then it is the date on the departure stamp that matters, not the flight, many airlines allow you to check in several hours before so you can use the lounge etc

Likewise if you land at 11.45pm, take your time and get to immigration at 12.10a,m so you don't waste a day

However sometimes they are slow to change their date stamps so make sure it is the correct date!

Leaving the country as far as immigration is concerned means the date you pass through and the stamp reflects that even if legally you did not depart

Otherwise what if your flight is delayed or cancelled or you missed the boarding? Do they know that and call you back and charge you 300?

Years ago I did a visa run with a 3 hr turnround in SG, of course the flight was cancelled and I then missed my flight back from SG because I was still in JAk

I tried to suggest to the airline that since I had departed through immigration and left, I was happy just to arrive again and go back through immigration and land but they said no, you also have to physically leave, even though I was standing next to the door that led to the arrivals corridor, I said come on, no one will know just leave it unlocked for 5 seconds, I left, now I am back
