Hi everyone,
I've been deep-diving into Indonesian property regulations for foreign buyers — Hak Pakai, leasehold structures, PT PMA ownership, the recent PP 28/2025 changes, that kind of thing. Most of the English-language information out there is either outdated, vague, or written by agents trying to sell you something.
I started documenting what I find at balipropertyrules.com — breaking down the actual regulations article by article in plain English. No sales, no listings, just the rules.
Happy to contribute where I can on property-related threads. I don't have all the answers (I'm not a notary or lawyer), but I can usually point to the specific regulation that applies.
