I guess Brazil and Turkiye are the latest additions? Those two seem completely reciprocal since they already offered visa free access to Indonesian citizens for quite some time.
With South American countries it doesn’t seem very useful besides…. Suriname. There is quite a big community of Javanese in that country. Tricked by the Dutch (“it is not so far!”) and in a very unfair contract labor system after the abolishment of slavery.
Turkey has become an immensely popular vacation destination for Indonesians. Obviously the mosques etc. in Istanbul are popular but many destinations in the country are considered part of a ‘holy tour’ so an alternative for Israel; the Christian denominations are also served. Not to forget the hot air balloon trips. Also, the country is rather cheap.
Visa free is often a bit of a fake gift since it can not be extended, they can not work besides meetings, etc. etc.
