Yep, but for a retirement KITAS / KITAP you have no choice. Going through a government approved agent is mandatory, as they are the one acting as your "sponsor".
And yep, the agent I use since the beginning announces 37,5 M.

Starting the process in 2 or 3 weeks, my actual (4th) Kitas expiring early December.

Ah yes i forgot about retirement visa and using appointed sponsor. Surely there are more than one choice? I don't know any retirement visa specialists...but I would think there are a few in Bali? (I mean....assuming people would pick Bali to retire..vs the oh, so clean and serene Jakarta..)

Yes, there is plenty choice. Beforing moving here I contacted 3, already the website and later the emails reply gives you a good idea about the professionalism. On my next trip I visited the 3, and it was an easy choice.
Very satisfied with the one I choose. One has to be carefull with the first choice because changing to another agent later may be a bit of a challenge, as you depend how willing the 1st one is to transmit your file to the new agent or to you !

Curious to find out if there have been any delays in investor kitas processing. My agency told me they would finish the process last month but then informed me : "the BKPM office have a new OSS system and that system didn't connect yet with Visa processing".
In essence it sounds like BKPM implemented a new software system which is causing the delays.
Trying to figure out if these are legit reasons or not?
As detailed in the thread here, I am working with a agency I haven't worked with before and they are getting delayed.
Anybody experience such delays?

It is true that BKPM implemented the new OSS system starting August 9 and that most licensing procedures are either troubled or simply dysfunctional across the country from then-basically the licensing system collapsed.
However, to know does it reflect your case, you would need to be more specific or provide more details.

Thanks for the update. This is as much I could gather and understand from what they told me. i'll follow up more closely this time and hopefully it will get completed.
