Kitap Extension - Home visit

I am processing my first Kitap extension and was informed that the immigration officer will be coming to my home. What can I expect? During this covid pandemic, we have not allowed any guests inside the house. Will the officer need to come into the house as part of the inspection? Thank you in advance

I have had two home visits, one each when applying for KITAS and KITAP. I imagine this home visit will be along the same lines. One, don't panic. It is fairly simple. They will need to come inside, but they won't walk around the house. Mainly just sit in the living room where they will just ask questions about what you and your spouse does for work. It is basically just to make sure you are telling the truth about your marriage.

Offer them something to drink(coffee, tea, water) and if you have a small snack, you can do that too. This is mainly just to be polite.

I would suggest preparing some fruit or a simple rice dish. I never got the house visit because we did the interview at immigration, however some of the questions can be a bit difficult, and if you have some food to give them then they will have a more positive mindset.
I wouldn't be surprised if they would accept sitting on chairs outside (or at least just inside the door with the door left open) given the pandemic.

Home visits are pretty standard. Always pretty quick. I recall they wanted a picture of themselves with you, perhaps to prove they conducted the interview?

Have you paid your almost 12 juta fee, yet?
