The small dose one a day kind.

I only ask because where I am it is getting more difficult to find. So do I bring it with me?

My wife has a children's aspirin or panadol in liquid form. I'll ask what and where when she gets in.

I believe that the OP is taking the baby aspirin himself for its health benefits, so paracetamol is no substitute.

Ah, makes sense. How many milligrams in a low dose?

I believe around 81mg.

You can get this on Tokopedia, but it's expensive and I think it'd be difficult to find an apotek that stocked it. 100mg seems to be readily available though. Not sure how accurate the dose needs to be.

OK then 100mg and cut with a pill cutter. Just like I do now!

Ask for either Cardio Aspirin, or Low Dose Aspirin.

This is the whole point Children's Aspirin used to be sold in 100 tab bottles for peanuts until they started "Cardio Aspirin"

We often bring vitamins/ibuprofen etc., bought in bulk from Costco, when returning from Canada. We were told by a Customs officer that it's best if we package those in a plastic bag and show them to the customs on arrival. Last time we did that and the Customs guy actually thanked my wife for making his inspection easy. I was also happy to note he ignored my brand new computer, wrapped in bubble wrap, but without the box.

When I was in Perth I went to the chemists for some ibuprofen which I had been taking for my osteoarthritis pain in my ankles, the lady pointed out the warning on the box, " not to be taken if over 65" I was only taking ibuprofen because when I looked up all the other pain killers I had been recommended all would cause if used long term, heart attack, stomach ulcers or kidney failure, so I just grin and bear it, parcetomol and aspirins do nothing, I was taking some local jamu that eased it but not effective now, the joys of old age

Good info Anglian. I didn't know that. I've also been taking Ibuprofin 400mg, maybe as much as three times a week as I get arthritic pain in my foot which has a steel plate inserted as the result of a fall from a ladder some 20 years ago.
My doctor recently did ask what medicine I take and I said prescriptions from him for Gout, Hypertension and off the shelf ibuprofen for the pain in my foot. He did say not to take Ibuprofin on a regular basis but, just reading this below...I'm going to ask about morphine...that's like heroin isn't it.? I can probably get that cheap out of the Kerobokan Jail which I pass-bye almost daily...:biggrin1:

"Long-term use of drugs like ibuprofen, naporoxen, and high-dose aspirin is so dangerous for elderly people, the panel said, that those with moderate to severe pain who can’t get relief from alternatives like acetaminophen (the main ingredient in Tylenol®) may be better off being prescribed opioids like codeine or morphine, as long as the patient and caregiver are screened for prior substance abuse."

I like that idea, let me know what your doctor says about opioids, as my feet are really painful, so some relief would be nice

I have seen the Cardio Aspirin in the low dose and something called Asperet 81mg or something like that. Both are costly it seems. The regular aspirin here is 500mg and that is of considerable size compared to US 320mg as a normal dosage. They don't slit well either. Even with a pill cutter you get a half or two quarters and a pile of dust. I just have someone bring some from the US whenever I can.

We,ve found low dose easily, it's the regular aspirin that we can't find, even online..... Kosong
It has been my painkiller of choice for 50odd years and from my point of view has fewer bad effects than other meds

I have a feeling you cannot buy Asprin, I recently had back ache so I went to buy Asprin, first chemist nothing, second chemist, no Asprin, but recommend Aspilets, can be given to kids, I bought them but not used them or looked them up,
