Yea the B211 is the one I was looking at but to apply for this visa my flights have to be booked etc to have the itinerary to show them along with where I'm staying etc etc, all that's no problem but I'm just confused why a country would expect you to extend every 30 days in Jakarta if I'm planning on visiting remote small islands for up to 6 weeks the other side of Java and I've shown the embassy I'm coming for 6 months in the first place.

It's a great thing! And an incredible time saver, and kills the golden goose for every visa agent in Singapore, and the embassy staff there. It makes so much sense, that I am in fact, dumbfounded that they approved this.

It was retarded how much money they were making, even with cuts to embassy staff. When I did my one and only visa run, I saw the guy had a stack of about 20 passports ready to go on his desk. I asked him what his daily record was and he said something like 400 visas for a cruise ship. At $100/pop...

He takes 100 SGD/day/person in a small office, 20+ per day, 20 days a month, 12 months a year, 480.000 SGD/year. Not bad.
