Indonesian passport farce

There you go Anglian...a quick trip with your Indonesian family to Cairo, or Marseilles, and all your passport problems resolved

There always seems a way around the beaucracy here, but that method does seem a bit extreme and expensive

My daughter got her Indonesian passport this week. Pretty darn easy.

Online appointment a week in advance, went in Monday. Picked it up Friday.

Congratulations Jaime C.
If you were to advise others by posting the process details, without any personal information, I'm sure they might get some benefit from your experience.

Sure.

Step one: Tell my wife to make the appointment online.

Step two: Tell wife not to forget appointment.

Step three: Remind wife to pick up passport.

:D

Yep that’s the way to do it,
My wife went to the little immigration office at Lebak Bulas, close to Ace hardware, they made the appointment for her, the appointment was a month ahead at Pondok Pinang office, she was told miss the appointment you won’t get another till next year, she went to the office on the day waited about 3 hours and passport done, but come back next week to collect, so now she is a proud owner of an Indonesian passport, only problem nowhere to go as yet
