For information, Bulgaria is among the poorest countries in the EU. Many Bulgarian citizens themselves look for work abroad in countries such as Germany, the UK (when it was still part of the EU), Italy, Spain, etc. In this clips the news mentions they said “good salaries,” they are likely referring to wages that are high compared to those in Indonesia. But At the very least, it’s a better option than sending them to Saudi Arabia.
