Indonesia seems to be cuddling up to Russia diplomatically to the exclusion of USA. I'm not sure if this is because of Trump's America first policy or that Indonesia has always had a friendly relationship with Russia since RI's Independence.....

My brother-in-law (since deceased) spoke fluent Russian and, as a pilot in the Air Force, often visited Russia on military duties. He said they used Russia as a buffer as the USA had reneged on selling aircraft spare parts to Indonesia during the turmoil in Timor.

Trump hasn't made any friends since he became president but the relationship between Indonesia and Russian has been long term.
Trump is likely to ignore this unless Russia tells him it's okay to rant a bit.

Since Asad is back on the gas,Trump and Putin are no longer friends.

How do you know it was Assad?
A lot of people are making a lot of money out of this war and Trump's threat to pull out would mean massive profit losses.

Sounds a bit conspiracy theorist to me.

I have a very fashionable tin foil hat, it has tin foil balls that rattle around in the wind.
Most people don't believe the local extremist idiots support Trump's business partner, but they do.

The air-force has both US and Russian aircraft. Don't see any problem with them cuddling to either. I think they want some new kit?

Around here, anyway, Syria is old news since the FBI raided the office, home and hotel room of Michael Cohen, the President's personal lawyer.
