It’s probably time to get it for my 10 year old. I’ll just wait to get it for free on our next visit to the US.

But for woman it’s much riskier with cervical cancer etc. (see Julia Perez). I think in many Western European countries it’s a standard vaccination for girls of 12 years old now.

Now, I always understood it doesn’t make a lot of sense to get it if you’ve already been sexually active since 80% of the population is carrier anyway and then it would only help against some very rare HPV variations. Or if you have many different sexual contacts of course.
