I want to go to Indonesia again, but my passport has been blacklisted by Indonesian immigration.

is there anyone who can help me, or recommend an agent to take care of it, because I don't have friends and relatives in Jakarta.

Yesterday I tried to ask a number of agents to take care of it, but all of them asked for 6000 USD and it didn't necessarily go through.

sorry if my english is not correct.

Here is an article covering the subject. Some info may be outdated, but the general procedure remains the same:

Here are some questions that will be asked and need to be answered: Why did you overstay? Why do you want to come back to Indonesia?

because overstay, I want to meet my family in Indonesia, but my family is not in Jakarta but in Pontianak

WHY did you overstay? You thought the rules didn't apply to you? You didn't know?

Sick? No money?
What visa? Tourist? Overstay how long? Months? Years?

What "family" ? Wife? Legally married?
What's your passport? Where do you work? You will come back as a tourist or for a legal job with KITAS etc?

I can see why agents are saying they will change you $6000 USD.

You still did not answer the question. WHY DID YOU OVERSTAY? If you can't answer this, then don't expect to be removed.

Also answer some of the questions Snpark shared as it will be a lot easier to help you here.

It doesn't matter if the family isn't in Jakarta. That is where the Immigration Directors office is.

because the overstay has passed 14 years, because I am half indonesian, when I was little I was brought to Indonesia live 14 years.

and the agent said 14 years overstay wanted 6000 usd

The best way to solve your issue is to have a family member go to the immigration office in Jakarta and plead your case for you. JKT-Pontianak flights are probably under $100 one way, and hotels in Jakarta can be had for much less than that. Your total cost should be well under $1,000.

US$6000 is way too much. The amount of time of overstay has no bearing whatsoever on the work the agent has to put in, so should not affect their price.

I have to question how willing immigration will be to remove a name from the blacklist with that long of an overstay. Surely there are some details missing as well.

Apart from the city of Jakarta, can the immigration of other cities not revoke the blacklist, because the parents in Indonesia don't understand

maybe the blacklist can be revoked, because I am of half indonesian.

How can you overstay 14 years??
I mean since you obviously have and knew you had a foreign passport WNA didn't you ever stop to think about your visa?
And how did they manage to "catch" you ?

Based on the responses from the OP, there are lots of details missing.

It is actually weird that you are blacklisted for so short overstay.

The costs for removal should be at least 50% cheaper than you are quoted.

I would think a 14 year overstay would be looked at as someone who will do the same thing again. It doesn't matter if you are half anything if you do not or never were an Indonesian citizen. The agents you are talking too probably figure the same thing but will gladly take your cash to go through some motions.

Best way to get a blacklist removed is by a formal request from a family member directly to General Immigration office. In person along with a properly written request stating how you did wrong and have righted your wrongs and are on a new path to abide by all laws.
