Has immigration resumed work permit application?

Hello, I just got a job offer in Jakarta. The company wrote in the offer letter that they would help with the work visa however I have a few questions.

I heard foreign worker application was suspended due to covid. Is this true and has it opened again?

Also are there list of allowed jobs for foreign workers?

No it's hasn't been suspended. Or at least it's open at the moment anyway

And yes there is a list from manpower about approvable positions for expats

Sort of. New workers are mostly coming with business visas, and their work permits and stay permits are processed onshore when they enter Indonesia.

It had been suspended previously but is not anymore.
Work Permit by Kemnaker/Ministry of Manpower. Both company and candidate need to meed the requirements. KITAS by Immigration based on issued work permit.
