Growing a Vegetable Garden?

I’ve had those in Costa Rica. Pretty good. I think they often make them into juices or smoothie type drinks.

Are they readily available here? I’ve never seen them in Bandung.
Nice taste, smooth, better texture but not as sweet as common sawo.

Available in limited fruit stores in Jakarta and online store. I believe you can find it in Bandung too.

Let me guess, you found it washed up on the beach one day out walking? Looks like one of those sorts of bottles
Almost corect. I found it in one of boxes sent to Indonesia that I hadn't opened when I was repatriated from Kazakhstan 12 years ago as I was in Indonesia briefly before leaving for another countries.

Thank goodness no one died after drinking it.

Not a vegetable question, but I just can't grow rosemary here. I've killed off a few plants because of overwatering but still can't get a potted rosemary plant to thrive. Should I plant in ground? 🤔

Rosemary doesn't like wet feet, high humidity and acid soils. Good luck!

Grow well here in pot and ground.
Not difficult at all.

Not veggie or fruits, yesterday we harvested our rice in very traditional method, time and labour consuming, 8 people in 2 days.

Besides mamey sapote, sapodilla and passion fruit also grow well in my garden. I also planted rambutan, soursop, jackfruit, nangkadak, avocado, water apple, mango, papaya, lychee, longan, and durian, but they haven't produced any fruit yet.

I also grow various vegetables for my own consumption using the hydroponic method (foreground) and also aquaponic (after right) using water from nile tilapia pond, but they grow slower because the TDS is only 500-600 while for hydroponic TDS is at least 1000 ppm.

Of course, I also plant various types of flowers and other ornamental plants, including around 400 gumitir (marigold) flower plants, which generate quite a bit of income beside beautifying the garden.
