Are English premier league football fans in Indonesia aware that Bein Sports no longer has the rights to show the English Premier League in this country? Exclusive rights are with a small, mainly online company called Mola TV, which for many matches requires the purchase and installation of a satellite system called Matrix Polytron, only available at Electronic City (Jakarta) or online. Given that this was announced in the media only ten days ago, it looks like there will be virtually no one able to watch the Man City vs. West Ham match tonight, as it will not be streamed live by Mola TV and is only available on the aforementioned satellite system. What an own goal...Illegal streaming will soar and I sincerely hope that the EPL got paid by Mola TV in advance for the rights, since I can't imagine that many people shelling out for a new satellite system in addition to the subscription fee, and then disconnecting their Indovision coax cable to use with a one off channel. What a farce in the world's fourth largest market - there must have been a hell of large bung paid somewhere in all this...

They seem to have a mobile app thats useless and a streaming box for 1.2mill. Not sure on monthly charges but if its only that box then i suppose thats not too much for the whole season by global standards, although a lot more than most Indonesians will pay.
Are games still on with terrestrial tv?

I just told my hubby, he is not a happy bunny- and of course we won't be shelling out for any satellite dishes /systems :)
Thanks for the heads up.

Have to pay monthly in addition to the Matrix satellite and box and/or Polytron streaming box. There are one or two games a week shown on TVRI (provided one has a basic roof top antenna - access to matches on TVRI via MNC/Indovision is blocked) . The rest either online Mola streaming (good luck having enough bandwidth for HD on your internet connected smart TV - everyone's got one, right?), using a Mola Polytron box (need to buy and subscribe and same bandwidth issue as direct streaming) to stream online, or via the separate satellite thingy that no one has yet. For sure there will be a few million furious Indonesians tonight when they realize they can't watch the early match (one of the later ones is on TVRI). I can't believe the whole issue has been flying under the radar til now...what a farce.

Managed to watch the first EPL match of the day via an 'alternative' source and can confirm that there is insufficient internet bandwidth at least here in Bali to have an uninterrupted viewing experience online. Mola TV is a crock and English football fans in Indonesia are well and truly screwed unless they are willing to buy and install Mola's dedicated satellite dish. If Mola TV were a listed company I would short it til zero...

Mola Tv is an insult to all people living in Indonesia that follow the EPL.
Secondly, has the EPL awarding body sat down to watch the football using the Mola streaming device and to know what a pile of shit Mola Tv is. The quality of sound and picture is so bad it makes me angry why the license was given to Mola.

What can be done, is to write to the EPL Broadcasting Rights Dpt to alert them of the mistake they have made and to invite them to come and watch a match using the Mola Streaming Device.

If anyone can make a website to demonstrate against Mola TV, please let us know, so we can make an official complaint using the power of social media as its not fair and justice needs to be served on those who have manipulated innocent football fans and also the EPL Awarding Rights Division.

Its a serious issue that needs everyone's attention as we cannot let this type of misconduct walk away unchallenged. We need to grow a group of complaints via a website explaining why Mola TV should be stripped of its rights to broadcast the EPL. Once there are enough complainers, we can send this to the EPL Official body responsible for give the permission to Mola TV. Lets get it started and within a few months we will get some kind of reply as to why Indonesia is receiving a pile of shit.

Don't bother buying the streaming device, instead join a group to complain and to remove Mola TV from the equation.

C'mon lets make a website where everyone can complain to the EPL about Mola TV, don't let them get away with what they are doing. If you know how to make a site, then give us the link, we can then all join a mass demonstration against this insane situation with Mola TV.

What I wrote last week regarding Mola Tv Streaming Box, I would like to update everyone. For some good reason the football is now looking like it should. I have now watched 4 games without any poor quality picture. I am thinking because it’s new for both customers and Mola Tv, now they have got it right, therefore my first impression complaint regarding Mola Tv is no longer relevant.

The streaming box is now working and offers good quality, must have been a blip in their first week of broadcasting the EPL. I am very happy with the service.
