Deportation follow up question

Hey folks,

I posted a couple months ago regarding my deportation and 1yr blacklisting from Indonesia. I have a follow up question: I need to travel to two other Asian countries soon, and will only be seeking a tourist visa, but with the same passport.

Does anyone know if that red deportation stamp is likely to give me issues with immigration officials in other countries, or if I may be in a database of some kind that is shared between Asian countries? If the former case is true, perhaps I should get a new passport? In the latter case, I'd be screwed wouldnt I...

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks again for the help.

They certainly do not share that sort of data. An official might query you about the red stamp and why you reveived it, but hopefully it should not cause you any trouble.
