Hello there hope you have been doing great.
I did personally give birth in surabaya and it was a not bad expirience over all.
I gave birth normal last year in late march in Rkz and it was the peak time when everyone was panic about covid. I was in great pressure bc i didnt really understand the language yet at that time so I didnt rly know if i can communicate well with the nurse if there was any emergency. Luckily I got thru it bc the nurses were super nice to me and tried to comfort me all the time during my 3 times visiting the hospital checking the facilities. ( 3 times just to check out the facilities and making sure epidural u can see how nervous i was)
I requested epidural but unluckily no doctors wanna standby bc using epidural tend to make the process longer. But now idk anymore maybe they are happy to offer epidural. Better check with the hospital.
you also need a good room to rest after the birth so better check with the hospital beforehand.
My doctor is one of the best doctor called Dr. Chandra thaytty. But hes kinda mean usually, dont mind too much, bc hes very very nice and became another person like super gentle the day i was giving birth which made me felt so supportive that day.
Hope this would help.
