Alcohol (from beverages) Is Toxic

But as for the durian haters on this forum... you just haven't seen the light.
Not interested in a light that smells like that. I have tasted it several times in different countries but it was always a bad experience in my book. I think the burps were worse than the initial consumption.

I had to look that one up. According to google, "Some describe it as smelling like stale urine, a farmyard before cleaning, or even "poo sausage".
That's because it is made from the lower intestines. Which contain Bile. It's a strong smell, that some people like, and others don't like. I read that if you clean the parts really well, you can remove the strong smell. And by the Way, some people love Durian! I watched a video of People buying fermented Durian paste in Thailand, and they loved it? I heard there are Cheeses from Europe that are the same. Some say they really stink, and Others love it! 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏾‍♀️🧄✌️🤣🤮

It’s interesting how many French people will express extreme disgust with durian while eating powerful smelly cheese. Both can be good 👍🏻.
Good one !
Tradition probably. We eat since very young, same as Thais will eat durian.
But note that neither my ex Thai wife or my 3 kids ever ate it.
