Hi everyone, I have both a KITAP and e-KTP. I have had both vaccine shots here in Bali, but I cannot register in PeduliLindungi because it cannot find my NIK. My wife (Indonesian) has been trying to resolve this and recently spoke to some official in Jakarta who told her foriegners (WNA) cannot register in PeduliLindungi.

Does anyone here have any comments, insights or solutions to this? Really appreciate it

I have access to the app although it wasn't a smooth process. It didn't work for me for the first month or so after it was out because it couldn't find my NIK. I had the same difficulty getting vaccinated as my NIK number was not in the system. I had to get someone to agree to put the information in manually. I'm not sure why it works now. It sounds like the official she spoke to either doesn't know how to fix the issue or doesn't want to deal with it. Wish I had better advice.

Try through the website and not the app

Or try the search function since many others also asked this

I have KITAP, KTP and NIK, and have no issues with PeduliLindungi. Your NIK (or whatever number) they used to register you should be on your vaccine digital vaccine certificate.

Go to your local Puskesmas & ask them to input the data manually like we did.

Thank you Hawk. May I ask how you made contact with the person who was able to help? Was it a personal / private contact or through email/call to some government person? Really need help. Thanks

Surprisingly the website is the name with .com on the end

Any gov official who says expat can not register in the app should wake up and start paying attention instead if just showing up to collect a paycheck. When I downloaded the app, all was immediately in place. Your wife, if she has any questions should only be talking to local officials. People in Jakarta could care less about you. If you have a problem with your NIk, CatSip can check it. Having a problem with the app, Puskesmas personnel can help. Most problems I have seen is that either people try to register with a different phone number than what they used to get the vac or the wrong number was entered when you got the vac. They added an extra 0 to my wife's number and after a phone call informing them, it was fixed in 2 days.

Asked at the local police department the day before I was vaccinated to be input manually so that I was able to get the vaccine but the app still didn't work for me the 1st month. I don't know why it finally started working. Seems to be a lot of issues with NIK numbers not being registered or not working (at least for a while) in the system but I don't know the solution.

You already got helpful, detailed advice in how to resolve this. I will add that you have to, have to be very proactive and meticulous when it comes to future administrative, government, agency-related processes in this country. Stop walking out of there without dotting every i, and crossing every t.

Be kepo, annoying even. Take photos (download CamScanner), screenshots, ask for WA #'s, names, whatever it takes. It will save you a lot of headache.

Like everyone else has said they are either not informed correctly or they are not telling you the truth. I had no issues registering on the Pedulilindungi application and I'm here on KITAS too.

A few hrs after each vaxx they sent me my vaccine cert via SMS with my NIK and all the details on it - did you get that?

When I got my vaccine they had to manually enter me into the system and the lady doing it wasn't so happy about it (thankfully she had a supervisor who was kind to me and ensured I was processed along with the others).

In the Pedulilindungi app it has me classed under "Indonesian Citizen" (because I have a NIK and I just read it as having an Indonesian vaccination rather than my citizen status) - the foreign designation in the app is for people registering with vaccines from abroad I think.

Yes, register as Indonesian with your NIK, it should work.
Watch out that any covid testing for flights is also alligned to your NIK and not your passport number for upload and synchronzation with PeduliLindungi.

Was wondering the same but then it took 3 days (they told us up to 1 week) after they input my data before it came up in my phone so maybe the Doc is waiting to see if it actually works.

well ????

Sorry for being late to answer. I still cannot register. We went to Puskesmas and watched the lady try, but my NIK is not in their system and she can't enter my data. The program she uses does not allow passports or make any distinction between WNI or WNA

We went to DUSDUKCAPIL (gwo timed pkus numerous calls) and they confirmed my NIK is correct and active.

Peduli Lindungi, whether by Android App, Website, email or calling 119 says my NIK is not in thier system.

Somehow my NIK is not getting from DISDUKCAPIL to Pefuli Lindungi and so far no one can tell me why or what to do

Note: The phone I have listed in Peduli Lindundi is the number I use, but was registered to my daughter. She does not use this number, only me. Wonder if this is an issue?

Update Nov 17: Still no success

Both times I was vaccinated I had to fill out a form with my data (including my NIK from my SKTT). We are not sure what they did with those forms, seems they just used them to transfer my data manually to the printed sheet that I got both times like everyone else.

When we tried to download my certificates from Pendulilindungi there was nothing & after much mucking around my wife finally got thru to Pendulilindungi who told her to go to our local Puskesmas, show them the two sheets, my SKTT & my KITAS & ask them to input my data manually including my NIK which they did & three days later it was working..
