I'm sure quite a few here (expats/WNAs) have transferred money from your BCA to another (non-BCA) bank acct...did you submit any special request to do this? I've had my BCA for years now, and I've never done bank-to-bank transfer (to other accounts of my own) via klikbca...I've called halo bca, talked to bank managers, etc nobody seems to know the answer..from "That is strange, you should be able to do it..." to "submit special form.." (which they said they're gonna follow up with me but never did)...to "Please call halo BCA" and one customer service sat with me for an hour with them, and I don't even remember what was said since it was a while ago, but it was a bunch of runaround and ended up with "Sorry the service is not available to WNA".

So....anybody can share your experience?

Are the accounts both here in Indonesia? I have not had this experience, but I have heard of banks refusing to play nicely with e/o, making transfers take longer and raising fees when the transfer is to a bank with which they are in conflict. Asshats.

Can you clarify?
Non bca where?
Can't do it online
Have to go to branch if oversea

Bca never ask for anything unless it's a large amount and even then just sign one form and say "property purchase" or something else vague

They don't care really it's just to put something in the box

If non bca but in indonesia, yes can do it online even on the app and klik bca
Just "register" the account and then do a fresh request
Now daily limit online is 500 juta with bca. Before was 250.
Very useful

Dm me if you want me to screen shot you step by step
I prefer klikbca only because they email you a full receipt. On the app u have to take a screen shot although there is an inbox copy

Not so helpful but Hsbc is the best for overseas transfer. Even online to anywhere in the world and large amounts

Very useful to keep an Hsbc account for such things.

Yes Maybank.

Sorry it's Maybank...under my own name. Not talking big amounts..even a 10 mill they won't allow....it has been a while since I tried...will try to test it tomorrow...

Yes Maybank.
I've never transferred to them. Mostly I have to deliver to all those Indonesian banks whose names are abbreviated to three letters. Like Snpark, I have always been able to do it with klik BCA. The only variables have been how long it takes to arrive and how much the fee is. No approval processes that I can recall.

And interestingly, now seems like BCA have added online international transfer:

I have a BCA account that my work pays into and I have an HSBC account that I keep my money in. I transfer every month without any issues (online with my blue key thingy). I'm usually transferring larger amounts than 10juta but they do limit my transactions to 25juta per transfer (but I just do multiple transfers to get around that and never had any issue). I have a bog-standard account with them, maybe they would allow me to do more if I had the premium account but I don't keep enough money in my BCA for that.

I hate that BCA make you "register account" for the recipient each time on klikbca. Just an extra step thats not required, but its not exactly complicated.

Are you struggling at the register account stage or the actual transfer stage? If the latter then try a lower amount in case they have a limit set.

For me the instant transfer on HSBC is great. It finds the account name at any bank when you enter the account number so its very hard to make any mistakes on the transfer and its instant and free. Ive heard bca mobile banking is good but havent tried that yet - only klikbca

I like the BCA mobile banking. Feels a bit less secure than having my little blue token, but I also don't have to search the entire house for a little blue token.

Lol. I got the ex-wife to do it, back in the day. The other day I had my kid put in the password for me as I was driving him to her house. After three incorrect attempts the account was locked. I then went through the verification process again and unlocked it. Then had to ask the ex to look at it again as my account type was not displaying in the menus, only other accounts I don't have. I was freaking out by this point as I do need online banking to work. Tech genius that she is, she was immediately able to solve the problem... by scrolling up. Achievement: You are a Dummy - Unlocked

Er - they don't??!! Once you register the account it is saved. The next time you want to transfer to that account everything is already there. I think you need a klikbanking tutorial. Seems all the good things no one ever showed you.

For any account even non BCA, you only need to register once - it saves them all

Go to "transfer to other domestic account" then transfer "from my list" etc etc

Daily limit on klik is now 500 juta a day and you can no do international too

Even you just said you "once you register the account". So there you go. You have to register every new account even if you only transfer to that account once. I now have lots of registered accounts which i never will send to again. Also you need to chill a little in your replies.

Ok listen. How else do you input the bank details?

Whether you call it "register" or "input"

What is this magic app you have that knows already the bank details of the beneficiary?

What you are saying does not make sense

You have to input / enter the bank details at least once.

There is a box next to it. "Save to my list".
It does not automatically save it.

But if you think you will transfer to that account again then click the box and next time it's already there saved.

If it's only a one time transfer then don't click the box. It won't be in your saved list.

And anyway all you have to do is go to admin and " delete payment / transfer list" and you can edit and delete any / all of the saved names and account numbers.

So instead of telling me to "chill" why don't you just learn how to use the application properly.

It's very simple. And all I am doing is explaining how it works. You don't have to save the transfer name. So you should not have hundreds of unnecessary names saved.

I don't understand why you moaning at me when you obviously just don't know how to use BCA klikbanking.

Ok BCA Master teach me then. Lets suggest a scenario. You want to transfer to a new restaurant to pay for dinner. How many times do you have to enter a code into the blue token to make the transfer? On Klik BCA (not the app - the website banking).

On the klikbca website it does not allow you to enter an account which is from the transfer list which requires it to be registered. An unwanted step.

Are you sure you are not refer to the App? I have heard that does not require this step.
